How we check car washes

We compare information published by car wash operators. Each location page links to its sources and shows when we checked them.

Wash types

We label automatic equipment as touchless only when the operator identifies that method. Automatic washing, contactless payment and self-service vacuums do not establish a touchless wash or self-serve vehicle bays.

Prices and clearance

Each price or limit belongs to the specific location and service named in its source. Automatic height limits, self-serve height limits and bay widths stay separate. Missing details are shown as unknown. We do not infer opening status from the current time.

City coverage

City comparisons are researched samples, not complete lists. Nearby towns are labeled separately using the operator's locality. Postal addresses can differ from municipal boundaries. Several branches of one operator are counted as locations, not separate businesses.

Editorial review

A location needs owner evidence for its identity, address and relevant wash service before it is listed. Conflicting or insufficient records stay unpublished. Basic profiles remain available to directory readers but stay out of the search sitemap until they provide enough useful detail.

Corrections

Hours, prices and services can change. Confirm them with the operator before traveling. Send a correction with a current source if a listing needs updating.

Commercial placements

Payment does not determine a location's inclusion or order. Any future advertising or paid editorial placement will be labeled, and paid links will use the sponsored link attribute.
